Oh, the chaos! This room underwent quite an impressive transformation, but watching the video of how it was transformed made me nervous…very nervous.
Tiktoker Kelsey (@a.dabbled.dwelling on Tiktok) decided to update her dining room. The video starts with her on a 3-foot step ladder trying to apply wallpaper to the ceiling. But instead of stepping off the ladder, she would just scoot it forward while standing on it…yep.
I’m really happy she didn’t hurt herself, but the wallpaper came tumbling down anyway.
All of that effort gone down the drain!
The video then cuts to her painting the room a gorgeous forest green color. She revealed the dentil molding in the room and admitted they are beautiful (agreed). But she insisted on painting them and said doing so “is going to be the death of me.”
Who would’ve thought the dentil molding would take her out and not a face plant from falling off the step ladder?
Kelsey devised a new plan – she bought a paint suit and sang karaoke.
I’m down with this new plan.
Kelsey said this enticed her husband to help her apply the wallpaper to the ceiling, which turned out to be the key feature in the room’s makeover.
In the video, Kelsey assembled the furniture and added curtains to the windows. After adding a few more details, she revealed a truly remarkable dining room. She says in the video that she was able to host her family. Kelsey then took a sip of wine.
After this project, she deserves a bottle!
I really enjoyed watching the transformation of this room. It had highs and lows. It was really reminiscent of a short film.
But what I want to know is – did you enjoy it? What did you think? Let me know in the comments!
Itís hard to come by well-informed people in this particular topic, but you sound like you know what youíre talking about! Thanks
